Thoughtful chat,

well Fed.

Sick of being slaves to the algorithm, we’re craving proper conversation and authentic connection.

Common Ground Supper Club is a networking club, curating a small group of people with professional common ground, for an evening of thoughtful discussion and great food.

No peacocking, hard sells, AI-generated waffle, or naval gazing nonsense. Not a warm white wine or name badge in sight. Just a fun kitchen-table supper party, with a professional twist.

Join our analogue rebellion.

The only rule: be interesting, interested, and willing to see the common ground.

About The Supper Club

What is the purpose of the supper club?

This is first and foremost a networking supper club for people looking to make connections that might benefit their careers.

Is there a theme?

Each supper we’ll be discussing one big question on ‘The Future of the World’. We’ll be delving into the future of technology, security, society and culture, environment and more.

What’s the format of the evening?

After drinks and canapes (the best bit, in our opinion), we’ll then start dinner and kick off the conversation. We’ll then let things flow naturally while we eat, drink and be merry. We’re all grown-ups, and this doesn’t need to be overly choreographed.

Who’s doing the cooking, and what will I be served?

A roster of amazing local chefs will be serving three courses of deliciousness. To keep things interesting, each supper will be a different cuisine. We love our food, and this will be a focal point of the evening.

How much does it cost, and do I have to bring anything?

This is not a profit play; we’re just in it for the company.

A flat rate of £50 per person will apply, to cover the cost of the high-quality produce and service. While we’ll provide the first drink, every guest will also bring a bottle of their choice. It doesn’t have to be alcoholic, just whatever you fancy.

What will I get out of being part of the community?

We can’t deal with another bloated social chat, so we will leave it to you to take connections forward. Over time, we’ll be inviting guest speakers and lots of other cool ideas, but we want to grow sustainably. We can promise you will make lots of interesting connections - new colleagues, new business, new friends…who knows, even new dates!

What’s the launch plan?

We’re kicking off the club with a three-supper pilot programme at our home in Nunhead, South East London. This starts in April and wraps in September. Pending no disasters, we’ll then open the guest list again.

What should I do now?

If this sounds up your street, you can join the guestlist below. This doesn’t automatically guarantee you a spot at dinner; it simply registers your interest in being part of the community.

When you apply to join the list, you’ll send us your LinkedIn profile.

When we’re hosting a supper on a topic we think you’d like (and you will have an opinion on…), we’ll invite you to the table. We’ll also ask you to recommend another person with common ground, who might like to join us.

We look forward to seeing you for supper!
