Sick of being slaves to the algorithm, we’re craving proper conversation and authentic connection.

Common Ground Supper Club is a networking club, curating a small group of people with professional common ground, for an evening of thoughtful discussion and great food.

No peacocking, hard sells or AI-generated waffle. Not a warm white wine or name badge in sight.

Just a fun kitchen-table supper party, with a twist.

The only rule: be interesting, interested, and willing to see the common ground.

Thoughtful chat,

well fed.

What is the purpose of the supper club?

This is first and foremost a networking supper club for people looking to make connections that might benefit their careers. However, if you make a new friend or date, then brilliant!

Who will be at the table?

This is a carefully curated table. We will be inviting several of the guests based on their common experience and interest in the topic of discussion. We will then ask those guests to recommend one person they think would like to join the table too. That way, everyone arrives in the comfort of knowing one person already.

Is there a theme?

Each supper, we’ll be discussing one big question about the future of the world. We’ll be delving into technology, security, leadership, society and culture, environment and everything in between.

What’s the format of the evening?

After drinks and canapés, we’ll start supper and kick off the conversation. We’ll then let things flow naturally while we eat, drink and be merry. We’re all grown-ups, and this doesn’t need to be overly choreographed.

Who’s doing the cooking, and what will I be served?

A roster of amazing local private chefs will be serving three courses. To keep things interesting, each supper will be a different cuisine. We love our food, and this will be a focal point of the evening.

How much does it cost, and do I have to bring anything?

While we test the concept, a flat rate of £65 per person will apply to cover the cost of the high-quality produce, drinks and service. No need to bring anything.

Over time, we may introduce a membership fee, but we’re keeping things simple for now.

What will I gain from being part of the community?

We will leave it to you to take your connections forward. Over time, we have plans to nurture the community through guest speakers and other cool ideas. But, for now, we want to grow carefully and ensure we preserve the quality of the experience.

What’s the launch plan?

We’re kicking off the club with a pilot programme at our home in Nunhead, South East London. Provided there are no disasters, we’ll then move to a new venue in Central London.

What should I do now?

If this sounds up your street, you can go ahead and register your interest below to join the guestlist. This doesn’t automatically guarantee you a spot at the table; it simply registers your interest in joining the community.

When we’re hosting a supper on a topic we think you’d like, we’ll invite you to the table.

We look forward to welcoming you to supper!
